The Amarelli family started harvesting liquorice in 1499 and officially began their business in 1731. They are known for THE very finest liquorice in the world. This award winning liquorice has high levels of glycyrrhizin, is wholly natural and unless specified are sugar free. Our collection includes 40grams of the Mint Pure Liquorice, a 20gram tin of Old England pure liquorice, a 20 gram tin of Nanetti Mint Liquorice and a 20 gram tin of anise liquorice in an Italian scene tin.

All our amaretti are made with ground almonds, ground peach and apricot kernels, egg white, 100% pure vanilla extract and sugar. The almonds are from Italy and contain a certain number of bitter almonds, giving our amaretti their distinctive flavour. The ground kernels are included for texture and are of Italian provenance.

Our window counter and seats offer a great view of Penzance while you have coffee and lunch or a snack.
Last year we decorated the Deli red. It was a challenge to come up with the right colour combination for this beautiful old building. We think we have got this one right -- the red is direct from the colour of our Ortiz tuna jars from Spain. Ortiz uses colours used from the early 1900's.
